The Steppers of Kansas City (SOKC) has been in existence since Sept. 2011.  The group originated at Club Babeeboys in Grandview, MO. Over the years, we have become one of the most sought-after 2-step groups in Kansas City and other dance communities. This form of 2-stepping is excellent exercise, fun, and is a Kansas City trademark.   We have performed at various local events, church fundraisers, Black Police Officers Ball, local YMCA's and several other venues. We have had the good fortune to be invited to Detroit, Michigan and Charlotte North Carolina, Topeka KS. Minneapolis Mn. and other cities and states to teach and showcase our dance.  Through our journey, we have met thousands of wonderful people that have become friends and supporters.  Our group has blossomed from originally 10 members to now a whopping 75 members.  We are also community conscious.  We have an annual Pink Party to bring awareness to Breast Cancer and have donated funds to area hospitals for that purpose. We annually adopt families during the holiday season and teach dance at schools.  Although we are a 2-step organization, we feel very strongly about helping our community. Our mission is to teach dance and create positive vibes.
